Honored Sir.
May I ask on behalf of the Victorian Branch of [the] geographic Society of Australasia,
that you will be pleased to gr[ant] a Deputation of the Council [of] our branch a
short interview, at which we are anxious to place the present state of New Guinea
Exploration through the funds, generously granted by the Governments of Victoria and
New South Wales, before you, and thus to solicit also the continuation of the Victorian
grant for an other year.
