Sir,
In consequence of representations made by the Deputy Postmaster General to the Tender
Board respecting the manner in which Messrs Fergusson & Mitchell have carried out
their Contract for supplies to the Post Office during 1884-5, I have the honor by
direction, to request you to be so good as to state at your earliest convenience whether
in your opinion the Contractors have or have not satisfactorily fulfilled their contract
in connection with the supplies for your Department during 1884/5
