I am not certain, dear Mr Bastow, whether the little bryologic publication, sent herewith,
1
B64.10.03?
is already in the library of the R.S. of T.
2
Royal Society of Tasmania.
If so, this copy will be useful for your own book-collection. It has become very rare, as the edition was so small. No monetary means were available to continue these illustrations.
If you have any mosses for naming, I will be happy to send them to Dr C. Mueller, with whom since more than 30 years I am in continued communication.
I have large Australian Addenda to the lists published in the 11th vol of my "Fragm. phytogr. Austr., but few additional spec. since only from Tasmania for the 12th vol., which I hope will appear 1886.
3
The first fascicle of the 12th volume of M's Fragmenta had been published some years earlier (B82.12.03), but no more were published.
Regardfully
your
Ferd. von Mueller.
