I am not certain, dear Mr Bastow, whether the little bryologic publication, sent herewith,
is already in the library of the R.S. of T.
If so, this copy will be useful for your own book-collection. It has become very
rare, as the edition was so small. No monetary means were available to continue these
illustrations.

I have large Australian Addenda to the lists published in the 11th vol of my "Fragm.
phytogr. Austr., but few additional spec. since only from Tasmania for the 12th vol.,
which I hope will appear 1886.

The first fascicle of the 12th volume of M's Fragmenta had been published some years earlier (B82.12.03), but no more were published.
