When at Gov House this day, dear Mr Wadsworth, I learnt incidentally, that his Excellency
has never seen or received yet a copy of my Eucalyptography, so I learned in conversation
with Lady Loch.
As that work is an important one for so many practical purposes, concerning our colony,
perhaps you could kindly arrange that the Governor obtains a copy, — bound ones being
available now. I feel sure the hon. the Premier would grant the request.

Wadsworth transferred the matter to the Secretary to the Premier, E. Thomas. Thomas
noted on 15 May: 'Look into this: I distinctly remember a presenta[tio]n being authorized'.
On 1 June it was noted: 'His Excellency has already received a copy'.
