If you consider that your Department can be beneficially represented at the Exhibition you are invited to attend personally or to send a representative to a conference it has been decided to hold at the Melbourne Town Hall at 3.30 p.m. on Monday the 23rd instant at which the nature and extent of the contributions to be furnished by each Department can be fully discussed.
The President and Secretary of the Commission will be present on the occasion in order to afford all necessary information in connection with the Exhibition.
As soon as possible after the holding of the conference I shall be glad to be informed what expenditure will probably be incurred in the representation of your Department at the Exhibition.

Sir,
Your most obedient servant,
