MS written by Georg Luehmann and signed by M.
Sir
In accordance with your instructions I have the honor to report, that no personal
changes have taken place in my department during the month of December, but that with
your sanction Mr James Minchin, junior assistant in Museum, has received an increase
to his pay of one shilling per diem since the 1st of this month.
I also beg to draw your attention to the fact that — as pointed out in my letter of
7th June
— Mr. Luehmann entered the Public Service as Clerk on 20th February 1869, not as
erroneously stated in the return, on 1st July 1876, at which date he was appointed
by the Governor in Council at annual salary, having previously received daily wages.
