Sehr gern, hochgeehrter Herr Pastor, würde ich an der Sitzung des Committees für Abtragung der Kirchenschuld theilnehmen, wäre ich hinlänglich wohl; aber mein Husten, wenn auch weniger heftig, dauert noch fort; — u. ich habe es bisher vermeiden müssen in Abendstunden auszugehen. Wenn die Herren des Committees mir aber etwas auftragen wollen, was ich schriftlich ausführen kann, so soll es aufs Bereitwilligste geschehen.

M was a member of the parish finance committee of the Trinity Lutheran Church, East Melbourne.

highly esteemed Pastor, if I were reasonably well. But my cough, although a little less severe, still continues, and I have had to avoid going out at night till now. But if the gentlemen of the committee would like to give me a task that can be attended to in writing, I shall be most happy to oblige.
