Das Geschenk eines Exemplars Ihres prächtigen Werkes über Pourtalesia, hochgeehrter Herr, hat mich gut erreicht, u. sage ich Ihnen für die Ehre, welche Sie mir durch diese Zusendung erwiesen, meinen besten Dank. Sie werden demnächst ein Ex. meiner Eucalyptographia erhalten, sobald die jetzt im Druck befindliche 10 t. Decade fertig ist, für freundliche Entgegennahme.
Die Icones selectae Hymenomycetum, welche Ihre Akademie der Wissenschaften herausgiebt, erhalte ich regelmässig durch Ankauf von meinen London Agenten. Es ist ein herrlicher Nachlass des grossen u. unvergesslichen Elias Fries.

through purchase from my London agents. It is a magnificent legacy of the great and unforgettable Elias Fries.

Fries died in 1878 but publication of the work continued.
