the Government Botanist is requested to be so good as to state how many copies of the Key to the Native Plants of Victoria will require to be printed.

M replied on 29 September: 'Would recommend that 3000 copies be printed, as then each state-school could also become supplied with a copy.' This information was passed on to the Government Printer on 7 October.
