Nehmen Sie meinen besten Dank hin, geehrter Herr Tepper, für Ihren freundlichen Brief. Ich schreibe diese Zeilen nahe Nhill im N.W. von Victoria, wohin ich mich gewandt, um eine mir noch unbekannter Landstrich auf die Fruhlingsflora zu untersuchen und gleichzeitig die linderen Lüfte entfernt von der Küste zu geniessen. Dem nordamerik Gelehrten werde ich Exemplare sämmtlicher nordamerik Violaceen Australiens senden aus meinem Museum u auch die neuseeländischen Arten hinzufügen. Ich werde Ihnen weiter schreiben, wenn ich nach Melbourne in einigen Tagen zurückgekehrt sein werden.
