I do not often get good samples from N.S.W. but the next I obtain I will send you, with great pleasure

I would have called on you on going through Melbourne but had only just time to catch the train for Sydney.

Ramsay had been in Melbourne on 12/13 March 1884 on his way back to Sydney after visiting Europe; see notes to M to E. Ramsay, 7 July 1884.
