Besten Dank für alle Ihre freundlichen Mittheilungen, geehrter Herr Tepper, u für die mannichfache Weise, in welcher Sie mich ehren. Ihr msc Werk, welches Sie an die L.S. gesandt mit den Illustrationen, wird ein prächtiges sein. Bezüglich der möchte ich noch bemerken, dass es sich besonders um die Organisation der Stigmate handelt für Arten Unterschiede, daher wäre mir das Ex in Alcohol für Zergliederung recht lieb. Zwar sandten Sie gütig Frucht-Exemplare der Drosera; aber da sich die Supplement-Sammlungen aus allen Theilen Australiens häufen, ist es für mich oft schwer u sehr Zeitraubend, die betreffenden Ex. zusammenzufinden, so dass es mir recht lieb wäre, falls Sie dies ohne viel Mühe u Ausgabe thun können, wenn Sie die Frucht Ex. noch einmal sammeln würden.

Best thanks for all your kindly communications, respected Mr Tepper, and for the manifold manner in which you honour me. Your MS work that you sent to the Linnean Society with the illustrations will be a splendid one.

Tepper had two papers published by the Linnean Society in 1884, Tepper (1884) and Tepper (1884a), but neither was accompanied by illustrations.

In reference to the I should like to remark still that it is particularly a matter of the organization of the stigmata for species discrimination, therefore the specimen in alcohol for dissection would be very welcome to me. It is true you kindly sent fruit specimens of the Drosera but, because the supplementary collections from all parts of Australia accumulate, it is often difficult and very time consuming for me to find the relevant specimens together, so that it would be very welcome to me if you would collect the fruit again, if you can do this without much trouble and expense.
