Drosera aphylla

Search for Drosera aphylla in

recht genau in Blüthe z eichnen werden in dieser Jahreszeit. In meinem Quart. Bande, "plants of Victoria" ist eine ausführliche Zeichnung von Dros. Whittackeri, so dass Sie gute Stützpunkte für Vergleich im Zeichnen haben. Nach getrockneter Exemplare lässt sich die innere Structur der Blume nicht gut beschreiben.
Auch Früchte sollten sorgsam u reif gesammelt werden. Es wird sich dann bestimmt herausstellen, ob D. aphylla eine wirkliche entschieden characteristische Art sei oder nur eine abnorme Form.
Hoffentlich haben Sie nun endlich die 9te Decade der Eucalyptographie erhalten.

in bloom very accurately in this season. In my quarto volume Plants of Victoria there is a detailed drawing of
Drosera whittackeri

so that you have a good basis for comparison in drawing. The inner structure of the flower is not able to be properly described from dried specimens.
Also fruits should be collected carefully and ripe. It will then certainly become apparent whether D. aphylla is a really distinctly characteristic species or only an abnormal form.

The specimen sent to M is at MEL 96925, and has Tepper's label 'Clarendon, 7.4.82 | grassy hillside in very dry soil, without any radical leaves, social | 618'. M's label is '

FvM | Holds the same relat. to D. Whittackeri as D. squamosa to D. erythrorrhiza.' See Tepper (1892), p. 357, where he described the species as D. praefolia.
