I am very glad to hear that you have somewhat recovered from your late illness — with this I forward a specimen (only a poor one but the best I have) of also and a specimen of a large form of I have named after Mr Hill I have also enclosed a few composites that puzzle me please name them for me and obilige

This is a form (I should have liked to have found it differing sufficient for a specific distinction) found by Mr Hill on Frasers Island

— I have therefore placed his name to it — var Hillii I think you will agree there is a greater distinction between these two trees than many Eucalypts looked upon as distinct species
