Herewith is a plant that is coming up in my garden & paddock at Elsternwick

Melbourne suburb.

& which neither my gardner nor Brunning

The nurseryman George Brunning.

has seen before.

Its flower is yellow in the paddock and white in the garden. It throws up seed spikes about three feet high

I shall feel obliged if you can let me know the name of this plant.
