MS found with a specimen of Isotoma axillaris (MEL 2260534). MS is a sheet torn from a writing exercise book with passages to copy:
on the front, ‘Strive to improve in writing.’, and on the verso, ‘Ruinous consequences
attend gaming’. Correspondent not further identified.

I now send you a plant my children found upon the granite Mountains Mind it is as
hot as chilies don't touch your eyes after handeling it Can you tell me the name of
it or if it is of any use as medicine
