I beg to send you dried specimen of Flowering Tree, grows here among rocks, on the Banks of water courses, hight 12 feet, flower has a strong Scent something like Magnolia and would be a great ornament to gardens. I also inclose seed the pod of which is 6 in long I would be glad to forward you other Specimens but my time is not my own at present please acknowledge recipt I would be glad of a few hints as to the preservation of plants & Birds.
