307., lieber Herr Holtze, ist eine interessante Pflanze; ich habe sie als Melodorum Holtzei beschrieben; sie weicht aber etwas in der Knospenlage ab, u mir fehlen die Früchte , um über das Genus sicher zu sein. Etwas mehr Material wäre mir willkommen, namentlich Blüthen, Knospen, junge Früchte (der Ovula wegen) u reife Früchte.

Wo diese Anonacea vorkommt, sollten sich andere Pflanzenformen, die mit denen der Sunda Inseln verwandt sind, finden lassen.

No. 307, dear Mr Holtze, is an interesting plant; I have described it as .

M eventually published the species as Uvaria holtzei (B83.07.03, p. 175), stating 'fruit unknown'.

But it differs a little in the position of the buds, and I lack the fruits in order to be certain as to the genus. I would welcome some more material, in particular flowers, buds, immature fruit (on account of the ovule) and ripe fruits.

It should be possible to find other plant forms, related to those of the Sunda Islands, where these Anonaceae occur.
