Es ist mein Wunsch, geehrter Herr Tepper, Euc. viminalis in die 10ten Decade der Eucalyptographia aufzunehmen, u da diese bald erscheinen soll, möchte ich Sie bitten, da diese Art doch wohl noch am Torrens Fluss existirt, auf das Manna-Insekt diesen Sommer zu achten, damit doch zuletzt diese Frage klar beantwortet werde, was ja auch dem Museum dort zu Nutz kommen wird.

B84.11.02; M refers to Tepper's work but not explicitly to a letter written after the date of this letter.
and since this is to be published soon, I would like to ask you, because I suppose this species surely still exists on the Torrens River, to observe the manna insect this summer, so that in the end this question is answered clearly, which certainly will also come in useful to the museum there.
