I have the honor to solicit that you will be good enough to grant the transfer of the sum of Twenty pounds (£20.) from the vote for "Paper for Lithograms, and of Thirty pounds (£30) from the vote for "Collector of Plants" to the vote for "Books, Collections, extra Office assistance and Incidental Expenses", in order to enable me to defray the necessary expenditure of my department under the latter item.
