solche
Arten Bennungen als für S.A.
neu
Mittheilung kaum werth.
Bestens grüssend Ihr
Ferd. von Mueller.

Today, dear Mr Tepper, I received a list of names of fungi, which Dr Cook
kindly worked out from the specimens sent by me. From this index I have taken the
names of several species from your collection. The remainder of your fungi was indeterminable,
either because the specimens were not in fruit, or because insects destroyed the specimens.

Mordecai Cooke; M. Cooke to M, 16 March 1883 lists several specimens from Clarendon, Tepper's residence at this time. Some of
the species listed there by Cooke are reported as 'new for South Australia' in Tepper
(1883), pp. 66-8, basing his decision on absence from lists in Cooke (1881) and, apparently,
B81.13.13, pp. 118-21.
I request you to communicate
such
species names as are
new
for South Australia to Professor Tate, simply new localities of fungi are scarcely
worth a special communication.
Best greetings your
Ferd. von Mueller.
