Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 16th instant,
and with reference thereto beg to inform you that the amount required for the purchase
of the collection of dried plants of the late Dr Sonder of Hamburg viz. £900 (less
premium) will by the outgoing mail, be transmitted to the Agent General, who has been
desired to place himself in communication with Mrs Sonder, and to arrange for the
early transmission to this colony of the collection referred to.
