MS found with a specimen of Macrozamia diplomera, MEL 260276. MS is accompanied by two handwritten foolscap pages of 'Remarks on various varieties of Macrozamia' by E. Betche.

My dear Baron
I am now in possession of some valuable material for working out the Macrozamias indigenous to New South Wales, but until Mr Betche returns from the country, whither he has been for the last month in search of Macrozamias, I shall not have all the specimens which he has collected, for examination. In the meantime it is to my mind certain, that the old spiralis of Brown & Cunningham,
