Thanks for your last kind letter enlightening me as to the . I now send you some seed vessels sent to me from the neighbourhood of Gloucester

— said to be from a tree 20. or 30. feet high with long narrow sparse leaves — of which only a small fragment of one reached me, in a very dilapidated condition. As far as I could make it out it seemed to have dots & a marginal vein — and to be like a Myrtaceous leaf. — I have shown the seedvessels to Mr. Moore
