i.e. Dobson (1851) and Anderson (1851), of which M subsequently lent Tepper copies; see M to O. Tepper, 21 October 1882 (in this edition as 82-10-21b). Tepper (1884) was read on 15 February 1883; the printed paper has an addendum, derived from a letter to the Society, that acknowledges these two papers that 'Baron von Mueller has kindly sent me', and concludes that 'neither of the two Lerp insects therein described are identical with that observed by myself'.
