Among what arrived from you to day, dear Mr Ramsay, and for which I am much beholden to you, the fruits of the Cycas interested me particularly. It is the first testimony of a Cycas existing in the Solomon-Group and — so far as can be judged from the fruits alone, it is identical with C. Seemanni

Cycas seemannii ?
(Alex Braun) from Fiji. To confirm the identity, it would be desirable to get the male flowers , a few fruit-stalkes and a portion of leaf and the whole leafstalk .
I have just a short article on the Fiji-Cycas passing through the press, & can therefore mention at once this contribution of yours.
