Hiermit, lieber Herr Tepper, einige neue Druckblätter.

Ich gebe Ihnen hier die Nummern [I give you the numbers here] deleted.
Mit bestem Grusse
Ferd. von Mueller.
407 mag A papyrocarpa sein.
811 , A Cunn.

Herewith, dear Mr Tepper, some new publications. I must investigate your last plants by day, because I am writing these lines at a late night hour.
In the revision of the Acacias for the census, the majority from you that were not yet reviewed have also passed the review. I have sent a list of addenda from all of the later South Australian collections to Professor Tate, 11 species up to now new for South Australia; of these A. lanigera comes from you alone

In this paragraph, 'census' must refer to the update of the SA census being prepared for publication as Tate (1882), not to M's B83.03.04 in which is not shown as occurring in SA in either the main entry, p. 43, or the 'Additional annotations', p. 142. Nor is its range extended to SA in any of the 'annual supplements', B84.03.06 and following. It is listed as being in SA in B89.12.03, p. 74. It is included in Tate (1882), p. 86, acknowledging Tepper as the collector.
With best greetings
Ferd. von Mueller.
407 may be A. papyrocarpa. It is known only from Robert Brown's collection.
4
Described in Bentham (1863-78), p. 338, from a specimen in the herbarium of Robert Brown (1773-1858) that was collected by him in March 1802 (Brown (2001), p. 160, n. 55).
Yours is unfortunately without fruit. Could it be obtained at Christmas by your successor.

Tepper had moved from the school at Ardrossan on the Yorke Peninsula, SA, to Clarendon, south of Adelaide, in August 1881.
is correctly recognised by you.
Best thanks for
