Would you be so kind to let me know, dear Mr Dyer, what spec. of it is, which yields the fine fibre in Argentina, mentioned in the Kew Report of 1877.

See M to W. Thiselton-Dyer 21 September 1882 (in this edition as 82-09-21a), for an apology for writing instead of Euryngium [sic =?Eryngium]. In editions of the Select Plants… from B84.13.22 M cites Kew Report 1877, p. 37 for information on the fibres produced by Eryngium pandanifolium.
