I am not acquainted with the fung, just received from you, dear Mr Ramsay but will send it to a specialist in Europe for naming, if indeed it is more than a mere mycelium of an undeveloped fung. If I should not always write at once, when you send me kindly anything, then remember, that I am no longer young & strong like you; but this I would say, that whatever you may send, will be duely turned to scientific account.
