Vor Postschluss, hochgeehrter Herr Professor, nachdem ich wieder einige Flechten an Sie absandte, möchte ich Sie noch um die Gefälligkeit bitten, mir einen Abdruck Ihrer in Lausanne schon 1877 gedruckter Abhandlung senden zu wollen. Sie haben darin die Monochlamydeen DC's in einer ähnlichen Weise vertheilt unter die

Jetzt erfahre ich überhaupt erst von dieser Ihrer Abhandlung durch Just’s Jahresbericht, von welchem mein saumseeliger Buchhändler mir seit 2 Jahren gar keine neue Sendungen gemacht hatte. Hätte ich Ihre Abhandlung gehabt, so würde ich vielleicht noch einige Änderungen in der Anordnung der Pflanzen-Gattungen von Ganz-Australien gemacht haben; aber diese Schrift ist jetzt gedruckt, wie Sie demnächst durch Zusendung eines Exemplars erfahren werden.

of which my dilatory bookseller has made no new consignments to me at all for two years. Had I had your paper, I would perhaps have made some more changes in the arrangement of the plant genera of the whole of Australia; but this text is now printed, as you will ascertain soon by the forwarding of a copy.
