Undated fragment. Many of the numbers in this list were used more than once in different years but have the same name in the AVH lists (accessed 6 January 2020), indicating that Holtze was numbering specimens from different collections according to his judgement of the species. The earliest year given for specimens with these names or their synonyms is 1882, often with collections made in 1883, and/or supposedly collected with Julian Tenison-Woods in 1886. There are four cases where the earliest collection year is given as 1883, but in these cases specimens sent in 1882 may not have been retained for the Herbarium, as is certainly the case for number 202 where no Holtze collection bearing that number is reported by AVH. Holtze's un-numbered specimen of is also dated to 1882. On these grounds the list is dated to 1882. Translations are included within the text in square brackets.
