I must now thank you for the grass seed you kindly sent the fungus truffle is only eaten by the Kangaroo rats Was on the coast the other day the [orchid] is now in flower found a nice patch on the Coast Hills it looked Beautiful two men came here from Perth to go to Broke inlet

to gather seeds of the Crimson gum but returned unsucsessful could not find the Trees scrub being so thick they could make no headway
they aim to try now from Forest Hill to the west of Irwins Inlet
