My dear Sir Ferdinand,
I find the Sugar Gum (Euc. Corynocalyx) leaves assume a very long and narrow form
in the northern portion of the Flinders Range.
The enclosed is taken from a tree N. E. of Port Augusta.
Might we take this to be a distinct variety or merely a chance growth?

P.S.
Where is "Marble Range" where you first observed E. Corynocalyx?
6
Marble Range is on the western side of the Eyre Peninsula, SA, a locality M never visited.
Eucalyptus corynocalyx
was collected there by C. Wilhelmi; see B60.05.01, p. 43.
