It is my pleasant duty, dear Mr Fraser, to acknowledge the receipt of 10 copies of the Report on the W.A. Forest-resources.

B79.13.10. M's request has not been found but Fraser suggested that M be sent ten copies if the Governor approved. This sending exhausted the stock in the office, leaving only one for reference (M. Fraser to Colonial Secretary, 16 July 1881 and minute thereto (Colonial Secretary's Office, Acc. 527, no. 1423/31, State Records Office of Western Australia, Perth).
Let me thank you for your generosity, and say, that these books shall be used to the best advantage for rendering known abroad your silvan treasures.
