Baron Sir Ferdinand,
I have the honor to inform you that on the 9th of May last the Council of the City
of Melbourne appointed Mr Councillor John Pigdon to be the Council's Trustee of the
Royal Park in room and stead of Mr Councillor A. K. Smith deceased.
I have been informed that you have given the Trustees the advantage of your services
as their Honorary Secretary and I have to ask that presuming the information to be
correct you will be so good as in that capacity to take what official action may be
necessary for the formal induction of Mr Councillor Pigdon to office as such Trustee.
