Dear Baron Mueller
The insect you ask about in your letter of last month
has not of late years made its appearance here. Every summer of late we have made
diligent search for it but without success. It was on the leaves of the Red gum &
Apple tree it fed.

Letter not found.
I enclose a fern the only one of the sort I have seen. It was found in a springy mossy
place high in the ranges Also a climber rare in this part of the Country.
