The register also records that copies of M's letter and this reply, together with
'certain
Eucalyptus
seeds', were forwarded to the Conservator of Forests, School Circle, North-Western
Provinces and Oudh, 'with the suggestion that he should in future undertake the correspondence
with Baron Von Müeller on the subject of such seeds', and that Eucalyptus seeds were
also 'despatched to the Conservators of Forests of the Central Circle, North-Western
Provinces, and of the Punjab for experimental cultivation'.
