Chief Secretary's Office,
Melbourne.
10th May 1881
Sir,
I should be obliged if you could let me know the present address of Baron N. Miklouho-Maclay in order that some Government publications may be forwarded to him
1
MS annotation by M: 'Either Consul Damyon, Russian Consulate of Melbourne or Australian Club, Sydney F.v.M. 11/5/81'. See also M to W. Odgers, 22 April 1881. Miklouho-Maclay had returned to Sydney, passing through Albury by rail on 2 May 1881 (Argus, 3 May 1881, p. 5). The Government evidently had additional publications for him, to supplement those sent on 23 April and acknowledged on Miklouho-Maclay's∑ behalf by E. M. Paul, Imperial Russian Consul, Sydney, on 25 May 1881.
I am
Sir
yours truly
T. R. Wilson
Baron F. Von Mueller
