My dear Baron,
May I trouble you to favor me with the names of the two Eucalypti, specimens of which
I enclose:
No. 1. I found growing on sandy ridges in the South East; a low spreading tree with
somewhat dense foliage; in patches along with the Stringybark.
No 2 — a large tree growing along with E.
Rostrata
in the swamps at Mt. McIntyre near Mt. Gambier.
Has a rough and apparently persistent bark.

Please refer to the numbers when you write. Apologising for troubling you.

My dear Baron
Yours very truly
J. E. Brown
