My dear Baron,

No. 1. I found growing on sandy ridges in the South East; a low spreading tree with somewhat dense foliage; in patches along with the Stringybark.
No 2 — a large tree growing along with E. Rostrata in the swamps at Mt. McIntyre near Mt. Gambier.

Has a rough and apparently persistent bark.
