My dear Baron,
Since I wrote to you yesterday

Letter not found.
about the supposed , I find, upon examination, that it does not belong to that genus. It looks like a Tephrosia , & I see that, as in T. flammea , the upper stamen is hairy! In other respects, it is more like T. reticulata , as the flowers are in twos or threes & the pedicels are longer than the calyx, whilst the lobes of the calyx are shorter than the tube. But the leaves have a little point at the end.
If the species is anything new, I will write to my friend for the fruit. I see by the specimens that the leaves vary very much in size, but they all have the same shape & a point at the end.
Yours very sincerely
W Woolls
