I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 3rd ultimo,
relative to your book on select plants for industrial culture,
and to inform you that Mr. Goyder has obtained a copy of the work in question from
the Surveyor General of Sydney, also that Messrs. Winneke
and Cornish's explorations were sent to you before your letter of the 3rd ultimo was
received.

G. Goyder to M, 26 February 1881, had requested a copy of the first edition of M's
Select plants. In his reply, M to G. Goyder, 3 March 1881 (in this edition as 81-03-03a), M advised that a NSW edition (B81.01.04) had recently been published.

camp at Parracherna, near Coopers Creek, but no published account
or survey
has been found concerning that area; the most recent
found
was
Cornish (1880), republished in many newspapers.
