If it gives not too much trouble to order an additional supply of the lithographic
paper for the Eucalyptus-Atlas, I shall be quite glad if the remaining sum is expended
for the purpose, as this publication is yet far from completion.

On 26 January 1881, E. Symonds, Under Treasurer, wrote to Odgers, Under Secretary,
advising that a balance of £17.18.3 for paper for the Eucalyptus Atlas was in the
hands of the Agent General and asking if it was still required. The letter was forwarded
to M on 29 January 1881 asking if the balance was required. In accordance with M's request, a further supply
of plate paper was ordered on 16 February 1881. However, on 19 May 1881, the Agent
General's office wrote to say that the supplier could not supply less than 25 reams
of the paper, and that the sum available was insufficient for this; see T. Wilson
to M, 2 August 1881 (in this edition as 81-08-02a), and M to T. Wilson, 6 August 1881 (in this edition as 81-08-06a).
At the time of this letter the seventh decade of Eucalyptographia had been issued; see B80.13.14. The final part was B84.11.02.
