Nur ein paar Worte, lieber Herr Tepper, um auf die frühern Frage des Lerp u der Melitose zurückzukommen, für meine nächste Decade der Eucalyptography habe ich E. viminalis zu erörtern, u wir haben hier die 2 mal früher gemachten Beobachtungen über die honigartige Absonderung einer auf E. viminalis lebenden kleinen Cicade bestätigt. Können Sie mir nun endgültig irgend auch Notizen über das Insekt liefern, welches das Lerp absondert u über die Euc Arten (Mallee) auf welche diese Hemiptire beschränkt ist

The discussion appeared in Decade 10 (B84.13.19). In it M acknowledged, inter alia, information supplied by Tepper.

and we have here confirmed the observations twice previously made about the honey-like secretion of one small cicada living on E. viminalis. Can you give me now definitely any notes at all on the insect, which secretes the lerp and about the Eucalyptus species (Mallee) to which this Hemiptera is restricted?
