My dear Baron Von Mueller
Thank you very much for your letter & kind present of Bulbs, I have planted them in my garden & they are growing beautifully. My dear Mother is now able to walk into the garden with my help, to see their progress each day, which is a great pleasure to us both My brother Campbell has just come from his Station on the "Thomas river"

he brought me a few seed of a very curious which I send you. My brother says they are very strange looking trees, with their branches hanging down all round to the ground, like a "weeping Willow". Our wild flowers are just begining to blossom if there are any you would like me to dry for you please let me know, but I can only get those that grow within a short riding distance from town or if you would like a few young plants that I could get, I would send them with pleasure again thanking you for your kindness, I remain yours
very truly
Kate L. Taylor
P.S. I gave your letter to Mr Spencer
