MS is a note on a file forwarded to M by Odgers on 15 April 1880, containing a request for 'Ten pounds of "Eucalyptus Calophyllus" [and] Ten pounds
of "Eucalyptus Rostrata"' seeds that had been made to the Chief Secretary by the Assistant
Colonial Secretary, Mauritius, on instruction from the Governor, G. F. Bowen, on 24
February 1880.

Account not found. On 28 April 1880, George Lane, Secretary of the Tender Board, wrote
to Odgers saying 'Case of Seeds for the Government of Mauritius received too late
to go by the outgoing Mail, it will however be despatched the first opportunity' (R80/4240,
unit 1145, VPRS 3991/P, Public Record Office, Victoria).
