To the honorable Malcolm Fraser, Minister of the Lands-Department of Western Australia.
Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of 25 copies of my Report on the Forest-Resources
of Western Australia,
just received through the Office of the hon. Colonial Secretary of Melbourne, and
it is also my pleasant duty to acknowledge the receipt of six more copies, received
previously through the Deputy Surveyor General.
While thanking you and your honorable Colleagues for your liberality in providing
these copies, I beg to remark, that I shall distribute them chiefly among such scientific
institutions abroad, as are likely to utilize the work for the furtherance of the
practical knowledge of the natural riches of your wide colonial territory.
