A cover sheet with this list has been marked: 'Fowler's Bay [SA] List of Plants F.M.'. The species mentioned are included in 'Plants collected by Mrs. Richards, Corr. Memb., at Fowler's Bay', Transactions and proceedings and report of the Royal Society of South Australia, vol. 3, pp. 171-2, (1880), an unsigned component of 'Miscellaneous Contributions to the Natural History of South Australia'. The text contains some quotations from letters from M, probably to Ralph Tate. The report of notes and exhibits at the meeting of 4 May (p. xxviii) refers to the list of plants collected by Mrs Richards, and the letter is dated to 1880 on that basis.
