the Insignia of the Knight’s Cross 1st Class of the Grand-Ducal Order of the Zähringen Lion of Baden together with statute and certificate of investiture.

See Friedrich I, Grand Duke of Baden, to M, 10 October 1879 (in this edition as 79-10-10b), and L. Turban to M, 15 October 1879. Turban had sent M the cross, statutes and certificate, so it was probably to him that M acknowledged rceiving them.
