A. Forrest (1880).
Inzwischen möchte ich Ihnen mittheilen, dass dieser ausgezeichnete Reise nach meinem ausgesprochenen Wunsche eine neue Localität mit Ihrem geehrten Namen bezeichnen wird.

Behn [sic] River was 'called the "Behn," after Dr. Behn, of Gotha, —successor to Petermann, and who co-operated with that gentleman for many years in his researchers towards the advancement of Australian scientific geography' (A. Forrest (1880), p. 28, entry for 7 August 1879). The name was changed to Behm by the WA Geographic Names Committee on 5 February 1996, and by the Place Names Committee for NT in April 1996 ( https://www.ntlis.nt.gov.au/placenames/view.jsp?id=15300 , accessed 12 July 2021).
Stets der Ihre
