in case you think it worth while to have the bitter in it investigated. The tree cut for specimen was 80 ft high, barrel 42 & Girth 4ft 8in. Blacks call it Nandyvil and brother to Cedar. The Backhousia m.

? MEL 2108077 is a specimen of this species collected at Richmond River by Fawcett in 1879.

psidioides worth cutting, but they both grow to a fair size at the Brunswick

and possibly the Backhousia m. may grow larger there — Along with the seeds mentioned are figs, trees about 90 to 100 ft. and leaves I will send next time. Some of the fruits were much larger but partly eaten — also scarlet seeds of a nephelium of which (I think the same) I once sent you a flower. I have one more which I will send with my next —I will write to the Brunswick next opportunity about the bags. But I fear it would be difficult to make any arrangement with the blacks to be depended upon. As it is, they are under promise to send me two bags of the to accompany the other two you have already got. When they come I shall send them at once — As yet I have not had any acknowledgement from our friend Mr C. Moore.
